Every lot is assessed by our in-house team, who draw on years of experience valuing pieces sourced from private individuals, probate estates, executors and house clearances.

One of the team reviews your items in person or from photos and responds within one working day, with no obligation to consign.
We sell collectables that don’t fit neatly into our specialist departments, including curios, bric-a-brac, decorative objects and unusual finds. We also handle full estate and probate collections featuring mixed general collectables, from a single curious piece to a wider clearance.
Our fee structure is simple: a £1.50 + VAT lotting fee per item, plus 18% + VAT commission on the hammer price. For example, £1,000 worth of items sold would net you £784 after commission, excluding the lotting fee. There’s never a charge for the initial valuation, whether or not you go ahead.
Once your items sell and all buyers have settled their invoices, we process payment by bank transfer within 21 days of the sale ending.
Yes. Our auctions are ideal for stock from shop clearances and business closures, end-of-line stock and business assets including commercial machinery and equipment. We are always happy to work with organisations and professionals dealing with insolvency. Send us photos, a rough description, dimensions and condition notes, or call for a free initial consultation.
