Signed photographs, letters, documents and memorabilia spanning entertainment, sport and history, assessed and sold by our team. Monthly sales attracting collectors and dealers across London and beyond.
About the Department
The value is in authenticity and context. Signed letters, photographs and programmes sell best with a story or provenance, and a whole archive is often worth more than its parts.
Our autographs and ephemera sales feature signed photographs, letters, documents, programmes and memorabilia spanning entertainment, sport and history. Every lot is assessed by our in-house team, who understand the provenance and authentication behind a genuine signature and how it affects value.
If you want to sell autographs or other ephemera, whether a single signed item or an entire collection, London Auctions can help you unlock its full value. We offer free initial valuations with no obligation, and whether you choose to proceed with us or not, our team will give you honest, practical advice on the best route to market.

We sell autographs, including signed photographs, letters and documents, along with sports and entertainment memorabilia, historical documents and printed ephemera. We also handle full estate and probate collections, from a single signed item to an entire collection.
Our fee structure is simple: a £1.50 + VAT lotting fee per item, plus 18% + VAT commission on the hammer price. For example, £1,000 worth of items sold would net you £784 after commission, excluding the lotting fee. There’s never a charge for the initial valuation, whether or not you go ahead.
Once your items sell and all buyers have settled their invoices, we process payment by bank transfer within 21 days of the sale ending.
Get in touch for a free valuation. If you go ahead, items can be dropped off or posted to our warehouse, and for larger collections we can arrange collection.
