Most house clearance companies clear everything, whether or not it has value. We do things differently: our team walk through the property first and identify anything suitable for auction before the clearance begins. In many cases, the auction proceeds offset some or all of the clearance cost.
Don’t clear before you get advice
It is surprisingly common to find items of real value in properties that are being cleared, particularly homes that have been lived in for many years. Jewellery, coins, watches, silver, art, furniture, collectables and even vehicles can all turn up. A quick opinion from our team costs nothing.
In our Summer Collectors Sale 2026, a classic 1967 Vauxhall Viva from a probate sale, stored since the 1990s, made £950. In August 2025, a one-owner 2013 VW Polo with just 9,200 miles led the sale at £2,600.
How it works
- Free estimate – contact us by phone, email or our form. We’ll arrange a free visit, or give an estimate from photos and a brief description.
- Property visit – we walk through every room, identify items suitable for auction and give you a clear, honest quotation.
- Auction items collected – these are taken to our Wallington warehouse, catalogued, photographed and entered into an upcoming sale.
- Property cleared – usually in a single day. Items are reused, recycled or responsibly disposed of, and the property is left clean and empty.
What we clear
Full properties, flats at all floor levels, partial clearances, lofts, garages, gardens and sheds, as well as stairlift removal. We specialise in probate clearances, working with executors, solicitors and families, and hoarder clearances, which we handle sensitively. We can also start with a probate valuation of the contents.
Where we work
We cover London and Surrey, including Croydon, Sutton, Wallington, Carshalton, Cheam, Merton, Wandsworth, Kingston, Richmond, Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Greenwich, Lambeth and Southwark, as well as Epsom, Guildford, Woking, Reigate, Weybridge and Horsham, and parts of Sussex and Kent. We are happy to collect keys from estate agents or solicitors, and often help clients who live some distance from the property.
