Our March Two-Day Collectors Sale took place on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th March 2025, with 1,149 lots on offer. Here is a round-up of the results and the lots that stood out.
Sale highlights
A James Webb oil on canvas, A View of Paris Looking Towards Notre Dame, led the sale at £3,500. A C.J. Vander solid silver canteen of cutlery for twelve made £3,000 and a François-Antoine Bossuet oil £2,700.
The single-owner silver coin collection sold strongly, with pre-1947 GB silver shillings making £3,200 and florins and two shillings £2,800. A mid-century rosewood table with eight Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen chairs reached £1,700.
