Yes, we offer free estimates on items for customers wishing to enter them into our auction. We also offer valuations of antiques for probate purposes. Feel free to send us pictures and a rough description of the item you wish to sell. Dimensions and condition reports always help. Get in touch today for more information.
Yes, feel free to bring any antiques you wish to sell to us at our Auction House in Wallington. We have regular valuation days, outside of these times feel free to make an appointment to come down and see us.
Details of all our charges can be seen here. Our basic commission rates are 18% plus VAT. We also charge a lotting fee of between £1.50 + VAT & £5 + VAT per lot depending on the type of antiques that you have.
Yes, antiques always perform well in our auctions. Although the demand for typical antiques such as “brown furniture” has dropped over the last few decades we are still seeing demand for other antique items at auction. Studio Pottery, watches & jewellery are all categories where we are seeing extremely high demand and growth in recent years.
