The September Collectors Auction at London Auctions was a huge success surpassing expectations and drawing in hundreds of enthusiastic bidders from all across the world. With over 1200 lots on offer, including Pokémon & trading cards, vintage memorabilia, and tobacciana, the auction attracted a diverse range of collector and dealers alike.
Among the most notable sales was a complete Pokémon 1999 Base Set, which sparked competitive bidding and ultimately sold for well above estimate. A collection of Vintage Lighters and Pipes sold for in excess of £12,500 and the bidding on an Early French Bicycle ended at £976 incl. BP.
A rare set of Magic the Gathering Cards sold for £4380 and a set of Vintage Tannoy Speakers made £1250. We are also noticing a trend in good examples of Lilliput Lane cottages making a bit of a comeback with a lot of 8 selling for £650.
The auction’s success reflects the growing demand for nostalgic collectables, the diversity of the lots allowed for both seasoned collectors and new buyers to participate, contributing to a dynamic and exciting atmosphere throughout the event.
